Towel designed by local Gold Coast artist Brandon Shaw follows Randy's design style through use of the colours and shapes found on many of his art pieces.
We asked about the 'q' that features on a lot of Randy's work:
"It's actually a cul-de-sac. I've lived on many Cul-de-sac's in my life and it's been a shape I was drawn to and continue to use in my work.
It is funny how it has stuck and is recognised. Sometimes when I do a painting without featuring the shape people will ask why?
Which is good I guess as people see that symbol as a representation of my work, which is cool"
